Our last cruise of 2015 took us to beautiful Lincoln - a city we love visiting, especially in the approach to Christmas where the narrow streets up to the cathedral feel particularly festive and its vintage shops offer unusual gift ideas. Once we've tackled the hill (up and down) we're invariably gasping for a cuppa and usually head to our favourite haunt of Stokes High Bridge Cafe, a lovely Tudor building sited on the historic bridge over the River Witham, built circa 1160. It's apparently the only medieval bridge left in England with houses still on it.
