COTTAGES ARE FIRST FRUIT OF DERBY RESTORATION

The Derby & Sandiacre Canal Trust has started work on its first property project, restoring a group of six cottages overlooking the 'Golden Mile' length of canal in Draycott.Three cottages are due to be completed by the end of 2018, and will be put up for sale. The second phase, using the remaining cottages, will create a long-term base for the trust itself, with a small heritage centre and tea rooms. This should be finished in spring 2019.
