A 120-year tradition of boat-building at one of the Norfolk Broads' best-known firms has ended - and with it, an attempt to enter the canal narrowboat market. Broom Boats said it is no longer building vessels at its yard in Brundall following a number of unprofitable years for its manufacturing division.
