Professional services company GHD has been chosen to provide engineering services for the US$300 million Carlsbad desalination Project in the US. The plant will provide about 190 ML of high quality drinking water per day. Construction on the facility, which is being developed by Poseidon Resources, will begin in 2009 and the plant is expected to be operational by in 2011.
