First National Operations Conference Fills the Gap

A successful Inaugural National Operations Network was held at Sydney Olympic Park, Homebush, in September. The aim of this network is to raise the profile and importance of Operations in the water industry by developing an Australia-wide network of connected AWA Operations professionals; it was pleasing, therefore, to have 160 delegates from all states except Tasmania represented. The theme of the conference was the Core Four: Treatment, Networks (Transport), Maintenance and Management. Water and Wastewater Treatment papers were well represented, with cutting edge breakthroughs in technologies, science and Operational know-how discussed.
