Pacific Water Conference

In September, AWA's Skills Project Manager, Fiona Mackenzie, attended the 3rd annual Pacific Water Conference themed 'Water Quality Challenges in the Pacific' held in Port Moresby, PNG. The event was organised by the Pacific Water and Wastes Association (PWWA) and hosted by Eda Ranu, Port Moresby's utility/water service provider and the PNG Water Board.rnThe three day conference gathered a range of organisations and presentations from government officials, donor agencies and associations covering the Pacific region, including Australian and New Zealand organisations. Capacity building within the water sector in the Pacific region is a major challenge.
