World Water Week

The World Water Week in Stockholm brings together practitioners, decision makers and business innovators from around the globe to exchange ideas, foster new thinking and develop solutions. It's dubbed the annual meeting place for the planet's most urgent water related issues and is organised by the Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI), a policy institute that contributes to international efforts to combat the world's escalating water crisis.rnIt's not surprising that the flavour of World Water Week is far different to the type of event we are used to in Australia. My personal perception is that living and working in such a successful water sector in a 'globally remote' area removes us quite a bit from many of the water problems other countries are facing.
