Water utilities across the country have announced a rise in the average household water bill in 2010-11.rnResidents in five South East Queensland local government areas face an increase of an average 10.7 per cent to their water and sewerage bills per quarter. Queensland Urban Utilities has cited the increased cost of buying bulk water from the Queensland Government-owned water grid as one of the reasons for the rise in prices.
