The former Chairman of Shell Australia, Mr Russell Caplan, has been appointed to chair Australia's leading contamination research organisation. The Co-operative Research Centre for Contamination Assessment and Remediation of the Environment (CRC CARE) was recently renewed by the Commonwealth Government for a period of nine years.
