Dr Peter Coombes is currently the Chief Scientist at the Office of Living Victoria and the Managing Director of Urban Water Cycle Solutions, which operates as an independent research think tank. Development of the Living Victoria policy, the establishment of the Office of Living Victoria as the change agency, and the successful submission of the Melbourne's Water Future strategy to the Victorian Cabinet was not an "overnight" success. The journey has evolved over the past two decades from a range of inputs from many dedicated Victorians who challenged the sameness of views about water policy and projects.
