As the driest inhabited continent on earth, the sustainable management of Australia's water resources is of paramount importance for both metropolitan and regional areas. Urban environments have become a focal point for sustainable practices, while the opportunity to create more water-sensitive cities and towns has never been more achievable. Local Government NSW's (LGNSW) Water Management Conference, which will take place on the Central Coast in September, will look at innovative solutions to achieve an integrated design of the urban water cycle and make cities and towns more water-sensitive.
