Rainwater harvesting is being used increasingly in both developed and developing country contexts, with Asian countries in particular taking a lead. BILL McCANN reports on the rise of this decentralised approach. Rainwater harvesting (RWH) techniques, and rainwater management more generally, appear to be making great strides in many Asian countries but relatively little progress in the world's developed regions.
