UK joins EU research network

The National Laboratory Service (NLS), a business of the Environment Agency of England and Wales, UK, has become a member of NORMAN, the international network of 50 or more research centres established in 2005 with the financial support of the European Commission. Through four laboratories in the UK, NLS works on a continuous programme of research and development, with a focus on identification and treatment of pollutants found in the natural environment. The company works on behalf of the Environment Agency and for water companies and others in the environmental sector.
