Aquatic monitoring of Lake Kinneret: tracking conditions in the Middle East's largest natural freshwater lake

TheYigal Allon Kinneret Limnological Laboratory, located on the north west shore of Lake Kinneret and part of the national research institution Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research, earlier this year purchased a LakeESP (environmental sensing platform) and a T-Chain sensor string from US freshwater instrumentation company Precision Measurement Engineering (PME).This will provide real-time temperature and dissolved oxygen data from the lake.
