Business guide to ecosystem service benefits launched

The World Business Council for Sustainable Development has launched a guide to corporate ecosystem valuation (CEV) that is said to provide 'a framework that allows business to recognise the actual benefits and value of ecosystem services, giving them new information and insights to include in business planning and financial analysis'. The guide is in two parts, the first being a screening process to determine whether a business needs to undertake a CEV, and a methodology, setting out how to conduct a CEV.
