Legislation passed to protect China wetlands

摘要

Recently, the 37th session of the 11th People's Congress Standing Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region approved the Wetlands Protection Ordinance of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and this Ordinance was formally implemented on 1 October. The formulation and implementation of the Ordinance will provide a legal basis for wetlands protection in Xinjiang.
