Xylem's Andre Dhawan, President of the company's EMEA region, will be one of those speaking at the Cleantech Forum, and will discuss the role that water and wastewater handling has to play in developing the cleantech industry, and how water technology companies can help to turn waste products into reusable, valuable resources. The topic, he notes,'speaks to broader issues such as the sustainability of water and how we use it, behavioural change, and conservation'. Xylem sees a lot of opportunities in wastewater reuse, says Dhawan. He observes:'We need to use what we use more efficiently.There is certainly a need for reuse.'The technologies exist, he explains, but there is a widely acknowledged need for education to gain acceptance.
