This is the time of year when we muse about our achievements and failures. We ponder the deficiencies we strive to avoid as well as the strengths we want to improve in our lives personally and professionally. We often establish a new set of goals and objectives for the upcoming year. I have often tried to create objectives for myself, the kind usually termed as New Year resolutions. These are generally laid out in a manner recognizing the shortcomings within our lives and what we do to correct them (eat better, exercise each day, work more (or less), improve the lives and relationships within our families). The list can go on and on, sometimes far beyond a practical limit.
