NGWA Responds to CBS Story on Groundwater Declines

CBS's 60 Minutes aired a story about groundwater declines in the United States on November 16. The National Ground Water Association contacted CBS on November 17 with the following comments. "The 60 Minutes show raised awareness of the importance of groundwater but also presented those who develop the resource for society in a negative light.
