My mother told me, "You're no better than anyone else and no one is better than you. Always strive to be the best you can be, and when you teach others, do so as equals and never act like you know everything."While in the U.S. Navy, I would have gone to college to earn an engineering degree. I feel that having the education and my experience would have helped my career.Teaching coworkers and customers. Helping coworkers in deciding what equipment is best used for certain applications is rewarding. Also, teaching our customers how to choose the right pump, air monitor, water quality meter, or how to construct a monitoring well is equally as rewarding.
