Operating profits soar

Sales and operating profit were up 12 per cent and 268 per cent, respectively, for BAM Nuttall for the year to 31 December 2018, producing a much-needed improved margin of 3 per cent (compared with one per cent the year before). The group's chief executive, Stephen Fox, said a revised management structure introduced in 2017 has had a "marked impact on a considerable number of significant framework and other contract awards".
