Sewerage upgrade means cleaner South Wales beaches

The scheme has seen the creation of a combined storm overflow (CSO) incorporating approximately 200m of three metre diameter Weholite pipe from Asset International. The enhanced network will upgrade the quality of bathing water in the area to a standard necessary to apply for a European Blue Flag Award, which is good news for all those who use the local beaches, including windsurfers and surfers who frequent the area all through the year.
