For almost five decades, receiving the Water Resources Bulletin, now the Journal of the American Water Resources Association (JAWRA), was one of the main reasons for joining AWRA. It landed on your desk every other month, waiting for you to thumb through it and expand your knowledge. Office shelves sagged under the weight of past issues. Today, many of you get JAWRA online. Many JAWRA readers forgo AWRA. membership - their loss! - and get JAWRA through their libraries. Public policy desperately needs sound scientific input but doesn't always find it. The world has changed and will continue to do so. How will these changes affect the venerable peer-reviewed journal?
