Reply of J.M.Lopez-Pila and regine szewazyk to the comment of professor C.N.Haas

Professor Haas, after going through the trouble of reworking our data with a superior methodology, finds that the probabilities of infection displayed on the y-axis of Fig. 3 in our paper have been overestimated by at least a two logs factor. After having studied Professor Hass' remarks we have, so we think, found the reason for the discrepancy: The text of our paper contains an important error.
