Concept for an Adaption of a Fishlift System at the Weir Baldeney (Ruhr)

At the weir Baldeney (Ruhr) a new kind of fishlift system should be build. For the planning and calculation of the arrangement, different investigations were carried out with the aim to show the functionality of the new lift system and to optimize Some technical and hydraulical issues. For the investigation field studies as well as hydraulic and ethohydraulic models were used. This article gives a brief overview about the separate steps of the investigation as well as the used models, methods and their interaction.
