Owner of hydropower plants are now exposed to increasing cost pressure. The conditions have changed; the motto is higher uptime and productivity at lower cost. This requires coordinated maintenance strategies, use of the latest concepts and modernization measures to ensure the competitiveness of power plants over their life cycle. Automation systems can help with a significant contribution.
