Stopping violence before it occurs is the best solution to internal and external workplace violence. Because of the sheer unpredictability of when, why, and how such violence could occur, employers might feel that any attempts to curtail violence is futile. This is far from true. Employers are not helpless when itrncomes to countering the possibility of workplace violence. However, internal and external workplace violence presents different safety challenges.
