loT discovery tools bring real value to field service

For some time now, we have seen growing demand to integrate connected devices for field service operations. In a recent study, titled Industrial Internet of Things (MoT) and Digital Transformation by IFS (Itasca, III.), 30% of product-oriented companies said they were already using the Internet of Things (loT) for field service to some extent, while a few companies were harnessing loT data to automatically trigger work orders or technician dispatches.
