Resolve Marine Group (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), a marine emergency response company, sent a water treatment system to the Bahamas in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. The system can produce up to 18,900 L/d (5000 gal/d). "We've had a long history of working in the Bahamas, we're usually first or second out when it comes to hurricane response," said Resolve Special Projects and Processes Manager Aaron Jozsef. "Aquifer systems can largely be impacted by the hurricane. We knew fresh water was going to be a critical component to recovering from the hurricane; it could take months or years. From experience, we knew there was going to be a demand."
