The EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) is providing an $8 million loan to the local private water utility, TOO Vodnye Resursy Marketing, to improve the water and wastewater services in the city of Shymkent in southern Kazakhstan.rnThe loan will finance a comprehensive investment programme that focuses on improving the efficiency and quality of the service.
