EPA drinking water report reveals 121 'at risk' supplies

The Irish Environmental Protection Agency has warned in its latest drinking water report that 121 'at risk' water supplies serving nearly one million people need investment to ensure they meet proposed future standards. The 2013 drinking water report found that 99.8% of samples from public potable water supplies complied with microbiological limits, and 99.5% of samples were in line with chemical limits.
