Corrigendum to 'Comparison of waste prevention behaviors among three Japanese megacity regions in the context of local measures and socio-demographics' WM 31 (7) (2011) 1441-1449

The authors regret that the tables shown in Kurisu and Bortoleto (2011) had mistakes on selection of analytical methods and p-crite-ria. The null hypothesis of Homogeneity-of-variance test is "variance is equal", therefore, the low probability (p<0.05) means variance is significantly un-equal. The previous tables showed opposite interpretation of the probability. One-way ANOVA and Tukey-Kramer Hochberg's GT2 can be used under equal-variance assumptions. Therefore, if p > 0.05, ANOVA and GT2 can be used.
