Mercure Grosvenor Introduces 'Green Conferencing'

A proactively 'green' approach to hosting events has heralded a new era in eco conferencing at Adelaide's Mercure Grosvenor Hotel, which snared a major Local Government Climate Change Summit in June. As the business world has awoken to global warming, so has demand begun to grow for carbon neutral events, meetings and conferences. During June, the Mercure Grosvenor in Adelaide hosted the "Beyond Carbon - Local Government Climate Change Summit" of some 120 delegates, opened by SA Premier Mike Rann.
