With an eye toward data security regulations, compliance solution provider TraceSecurity released its Risk Manager as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering. The Baton Rouge, La. -based vendor says Risk Manager enables companies to protect confidential data from physical and electronic threats, as well as demonstrate a verifiable and repeatable methodology for security, which is necessary to remain compliant with federal and state regulation. Risk Manager features risk management methodology based on industry standards, predefined and customizable assessment templates, and tools for generating online risk assessment questionnaires. According to TraceSecyrity, the software generates risk score-cards and profiles, as well as board-ievel reports.
