Tales and legends of Khanh Hoa

Khanh Hoa is a southernmost province of Trung Bo (central area of Viet Nam). Its claim to fame is multiple. Its chief town, Nha Trang City, is increasingly known internationally: as a beach with the ideal climate; as a picturesque holiday resort; as the location of the tomb of Dr. Alexandre Yersin, co-discover of the bubonic plague; as having the Nha Trang National Oceanographic Museum; and as a tourist site for many cultural events (for example, Miss Earth 2010- the 10th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant). A province of Champa, Khanh Hoa is a cradle mixing the cultures of ChSm and Vi£t, hence a very rich folklore.
