VDC, Motorola Agree to Pilot wi4 WiMAX in Vietnam

Vietnam DataCommunication Company (VDC), affiliated with Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), and Motorola Inc signed an agreement to technically and commercially pilot WiMAX in Vietnam's two largest cities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. The two sides signed the deal in Washington D.C. USA, June 21, 2007 within the framework of the US visit by Vietnamese President Nguyen Minh Triet.Tests will be carried out within one year, starting from October 2007.
