Railway and air tickets have always been a concern for quite a few people around the Tet holiday. Aiming to do away with customer difficulty in buying tickets, every year Vietnam Railway Corporation and Vietnam Airlines make early preparation with extensive advertising campaigns. Pictures of pushing each other or day-long queuing up for Tet ticket purchase are still rampant this year. Despite the railway branch's preparation to serve passengers months ahead, they still have to balance excess demand and the limited number of tickets. Since November 15th 2007, Sai Gon and Hanoi Railway Stations have accepted group ticket booking. Beside group ticket sales, these two stations conduct ticket sales through telephone and ticket delivery to homes.
