From a distance the store looks like a cross between the Gap and Barnes & Noble—well-lit windows, neatly arranged displays, a cozy cafe, and hip young employees. Reassured, a young couple strolling along Los Angeles's Sunset Boulevard step inside. They're looking to liven up the woman's upcoming graduation from Loyola Marymount University, so they try out one of the store's hottest items: a remote-control vibrating panty. While she stands at the cash register, he goes to the cafe to press the magic button. It works! "Needless to say she is going to enjoy her graduation a lot more than you or I did," comments Laura Butler, who left her job with Blockbuster to manage the new Hustler Hollywood store.
