摘要

A former chief executive of Brazilian petrochemicals company Braskem has been sentenced to 20 months in prison in the US for crimes related to the long-running Car Wash corruption probe. Joao Carlos Grubisich pleaded guilty earlier this year to one count of conspiracy to violate the anti-bribery provisions of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and one count of conspiracy to violate the books and records provisions of the FCPA and to fail to accurately certify Braskem's financial reports.
