ARGENTINA'S YPF plans to target its 2021 investments to breathe new life into a ramp-up of unconventional oil and gas production in the Vaca Muerta shale, with a net $1.5 billion earmarked for the Neuquen region alone. Argentina has some of the largest unconventional gas resources outside of North America, with the prolific Vaca Muerta in the Neuquen region central to the country's hydrocarbons output drive.
