Pemex opens up for Zama

PEMEX is prepared to take its place in a consortium headed by Houston-based Tabs Energy if that is what it takes to develop the Zama field in the Mexican offshore, Reuters reported this week. Zama was discovered by Talos in 2017 and, with an estimated 700 million barrels of oil, is the most significant find by a private company since Mexico reopened its long-closed oil sector in 2013.
