Otway pay for Beach

BEACH Energy has made a gas discovery with its latest exploration well in the Otway basin, off the coast of south-east Australia. Beach confirmed early this week that the Artisan-1 well had intersected a 69.5-metre gross gas column in the Upper Waarre formation, with 62.9 metres of net pay. A 20.9-metre gross gas column was also intersected in the secondary target of the Flaxman formation, with a net gas pay of 4.6 metres.
