摘要

CRUDE futures took a tumble midweek with traders unnerved by rising Covid-19 infections that further heightened concerns about the slow pace of global economic recovery and tepid demand for oil. Prices had rallied by 1% on Monday as global equities took heart from hopes for another US stimulus package designed to kickstart the world's largest economy. However, Tuesday witnessed a bout of heavy selling, with international benchmark Brent tumbling by more than 3% as Cov-id-19-related deaths passed 1 million worldwide, doubling in three months.
