Wintershall Dea still keen on IPO

WINTERSHALL Dea remains in the hunt for a public listing but the German oil and gas company has ruled out a stock market flotation before the end of March next year, when it hopes to see market conditions improve. Chief executive Mario Mehren talked about the possible listing as the company reported a steep fall in third-quarter earnings and announced plans to become a net-zero carbon emissions oil and gas producer by 2030. Wintershall Dea said in March it would be ready for an initial public offering (IPO) by mid-year but plans were derailed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
