New boost for Liberia round

LIBERIA has made radical changes to terms and conditions applied to suitors participating in its ongoing 2020 Offshore Licensing Round due to the coronavirus epidemic, in an exercise initially focused on offering nine blocks in the untapped Harper basin. The Liberia Petroleum Regulatory Authority has adjusted the signature bonus from a strict minimum of $8 million, payable in one tranche, to a more flexible system with no minimum sum.
