ABU Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) is set to delay the tender process until late this year for four substantial packages involving its $20 billion Hail & Ghasha offshore sour gas development. Project watchers have suggested that the commercial bid submission date for four Hail & Ghasha contracts is likely to be pushed back until the first week of November, as the state-owned giant aims to further optimise costs for the sour gas development in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic. Price bids for the Hail & Ghasha engineering, procurement and construction packages were earlier expected to be submitted by the end of this month.
