Van Oord offers role at Afungi

DUTCH offshore contractor Van Oord has issued further expressions of interest for work related to Total's Golfinho-Atum gas project off Mozambique. Gas from the field in Area 1 will be fed to two Total-operated liquefaction trains at A fungi in Cabo Delgado province with an overall capacity of almost 13 million tonnes per annum. One important requirement for Van Oord covers maritime agency and logistics services. However, the response time for this EoI is rapid - 21 July -which would suggest the Dutch player has a clear idea of which sub-contractors can handle the workscope.
