Buzi block yields gas discovery

MOZAMBIQUE'S state oil company and its Indonesian partner may have an onshore gas discovery on their hands after drilling a wildcat in the Buzi block in Sofala province. However, state-owned ENH and Energi Mega Persada (EMP) will be unable to confirm if they have a commercial discovery in the short term because drilling operations on an appraisal well have been suspended due to Covid-19 restrictions on the movement of personnel and goods.
