AUSTRIA'S OMV posted net income for 2018 of €1.99 billion ($2.27 billion), up from €853 million the previous year. The improved result came as revenue rose from €20.22 billion in 2017 to €22.93 billion last year that OMV attributed to higher prices. Lifting results was also a 23% jump in production, year-on-year, to about 427,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
