EnQuest targets increase

UK independent EnQuest is targeting a production boost this year, despite reporting lower than expected output from its flagship Kraken heavy oilfield in the UK North Sea during 2018, writes Anamaria Deduleasa. The company's average production for last year was 55,447 barrels of oil equivalent per day, a 48% increase from 2017. The jump came as EnQuest completed its acquisition of the Magnus oilfield in the northern North Sea from supermajor BP during the year.
